Burrowing Brittle Star (Amphiodia periercta)

Shingle Bay access - Pender Island, 20' mud/sand. 8 cm. 1000's of little legs poking up through the sand - amazing. My best id guess is that these are the brittle star. Still do not know what the worm on the right side is though.
